Matt is an active member in the Stillwater community and serves on the Stillwater Medical Foundation Board, the Stillwater Public Education Foundation Board(Board Chair 2019/20), the Stillwater Area Sports Association board(SASA), YoungLife Stillwater Committee, Deacon at his church, past board member of the Young Professionals of Stillwater (Board Chair 2018), a past board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Stillwater (Board Chair 2013/15), and a graduate of Leadership Stillwater Class 22.  Community service is a passion of Matt’s, and he learned the importance of it during his time as a banker.   Before joining First Gunn Financial Group in 2016, Matt was a banker with over 14 years of client-focused commercial lending experience.

My favorite verse - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4 : 6-7 (NASB)
